LAHORE: Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) Spokesperson
Mashood Tajwar said on Friday that the airline will introduce a new flight from Lahore to Delhi in November.
Previously, the flight to Mumbai from Karachi was suspended back in may and this left the weekly number of flights to India to o
ne. Although PIA made that decision amidst political tension between the t
wo neighbours over the Kashmir issue, PIA cited commercial reasons for the move.
Although the Kashmir issue has brought nothing but an increase
in political tension, this announcement has come as a relief for those who travel to between the two countr
ies frequently.
